Sept. 20, 2009 — Zoning issue sets preservationists on edge — The owners of the More-Bowling home on property adjacent to the Municipal Power plant have asked for it to be rezoned to M-1 zoning. Brian Treece, member of Columbia’s Historic Preservation Commission notes the home and property is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, noting its “cumulative history.” Columbia Tribune.
