Too bad no one worked to try and preserve the Arrowhead Motel. It is now about to be demolished. Sad story
You are right, it is sad. I believe members of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Columbia reached out, but there is very little funding for preservation and no way the city legally can keep people from demolishing their own buildings. But every demolished building is a loss to our history.
