It’s time for nominations for the city’s Most Notable Properties list and this article in the July 5, 2022 Columbia Missourian. The article highlights 10 properties already on the list.
So what is the Most Notable Property list? Any property 50 years or older, with in the city’s corporate limits with architectural or historic features that highlight Columbia’s “aesthetic views and social resources,” are eligible, the article states.
Good news — being on the list doesn’t restrict use of the property, so if you know of a place that deserves to be on the list or want to nominate a property you have, go ahead without fear you won’t be able to do what you want to your property.
