Interested in finding ways to preserve Columbia’s history? There will be a meeting to gauge interest in starting some kind of group or brigade of folks interested in Columbia’s history,

The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 in the J.W. “Blind” Boone House. Your interest might be in helping create tours, learning about maintaining older homes or simply learning about Columbia’s history. This meeting will be no pressure, no obligation, just sharing and brainstorming.

Snacks of cookies and fruit will be available.

Can’t come? No worries, I’ll post updates on, right here. And don’t forget, you can subscribe to this website and never fear getting spammed because, frankly, I don’t know how!

    I think this is a wonderful thing. Unfortunately, I am obligated on that date to host a friend visiting from out of state. I am interested and will look forward to reading the posts you create going forward. Thanks for thinking of me/us and best wishes in this pursuit. You charm and delight us!
