First Black History Calendar

You can buy a historic calendar now!

Columbia’s first Black history calendar is available for purchase. Only $15, but a limited number were printed so order ASAP! Here’s the link to order it.

The official name of the calendar is the 2022 Black Excellence and Racial Injustice CoMo calendar and the proceeds will be divided among the BOLD Academy, Race Matters, Friends, and a reparations fund. The project received support from Central Missouri RPCVs and the City of Columbia Commission for Human Rights.

The artwork was created by the girls at the BOLD Academy. There will be a pick-up event at the J.W. Blind Boone House on Fourth Street from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 11 with the original artwork on display. Other pick-up dates and times are 9-noon on Dec. 11 and 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 13 at the Grind on Forum. Can’t make those dates?
